WAITING ON GODS TIMING TRIAL
In every trial there is temptation not to trust God. Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Patience is trusting God, knowing that He loves you, that He is good and that He is in control of everything. There is a verse in Scripture that gives us some big insights on what not to do while we are waiting for Gods timing to unfold. In fact, He warns us many times to be strong and persevere through troubling times. Let perseverance finish it’s work so that you will be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” Having patience and trusting in God, is going to strengthen us when those trials come. In James 1:2-4 it says “Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters when you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Jesus calmed the wind and the waves right before the boat was going to be overtaken and as a result, the disciples’ faith became stronger. Matthew 8:24-27 The disciples were fearful and had little faith, thinking they were going to sink. Another example is when Jesus was on a boat with His disciples and mighty storm came upon them. After he showed them His faithfulness, their faith became stronger.
Exodus 16 He followed them in a cloud during the day and in a pillar of fire at night!!! Exodus 13:21 So many times He came to their rescue, even though they doubted Him. Exodus 14 He fed them with manna and quail falling down from heaven. He parted the Red Sea for them to escape Egypt and Pharoh’s evil reign.
But when we have faith and wait patiently on the Lord, we. Many times the Israelites became distraught and God would encourage them by his wondrous miracles. It can be difficult to trust in Gods timing when we are waiting for something we desperately desire.
For example, when God led Moses and the Israelites out of Egypt, keeping them safe, supplying their needs for 40 years in the dessert. Although this is a specific example of material possessions, this can be applied to any. Its a look at being encouraged to trust in Gods perfect. He knows the future and He knows the timing. Tony Evans reminds us of the importance of praying and waiting for Gods timing in our lives. Through all of this, I couldn’t help but think of how God works. The Lord tells us not to fret because He is watching over us. But if we get ahead of God, if we settle, or take something that will cure the itch instead of waiting for His best, we are the ones that suffer. There are countless stories in the Bible that tell of God’s loving care and guidance. God promises that we will not be disappointed or ashamed when we trust in Him. He gets more glory that way and our faith is strengthened during the waiting period. Amen Amen Hallelujah 🔥🔥 Thank you Jesus Praise you Jesus.If I know God like I think I know Him (because He is my friend), He loves to wait until things are seemingly impossible and then he does something magnificent. You are working in this situation Lord and everything will be well. I command the angels to go forth and be a witness of this mighty miracle which has set me free. It has never failed me and I have pushed passed ALL the ifs and buts. I will keep praising and thanking you in my waiting because my prayer as per Mark 11:24 is answered. It is commanded dead in the name of Jesus. Abba Father I have faith (and this has happened before) that this tumour is pronounced dead in the powerful name of Jesus. All demons and evil altars become invalid at the sound of his name. He is the name above all names and everything bows down before him. I will not go to surgery for the fibroid growing inside me as I have rebuked and cast out that tumour in the mighty and all powerful name of Jesus. This time I am in complete control of this faith test I’m beung put thru.
God, above all others, knows when the timing is right for His perfect plan to go into action. Habakkuk 2:3 - For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely. This is one of the instances and there have been a few in the past and much harder ones. Stanley reminds us that waiting on the Lord is a vital principle for every Christian. My faith is at it’s greatest test right now.
